Intra was launched in November 1999. The core of the company are specialists who have acquired their professional experience since 1995, or nearly the beginning of software localization in Poland.

Under the current organizational structure, Intra's offer has expanded. We provide translations of business, banking, e-commerce applications, software and documentation, medicine not only from English, but also from German and Norwegian, as well as compile and test systems and develop in-house assistance software.

Intra works with a large team of translators. Their professional career has developed in parallel with the introduction of information technology in Poland. As a result, our translators have an excellent knowledge of the ever-changing and rapidly developing IT vocabulary, they are well aware of the rapid changes in the IT area, and they know which English terms have established Polish equivalents and which require new equivalents.

Our work at Intra is driven by translation quality. We believe that bad translation is worse than no translation. We also believe that good translation means clear and coherent translation, where clear and consistent terminology is used. Clarity and consistency are particularly important in computer software, where ease of use depends on coherence between the documentation and the graphical interface. With the methods we have developed and the tools we use, we strongly believe we can quickly localize large amounts of material and deliver superior translation quality.
